How To Identify: 
Black Spot Cod is a typical cod shaped fish of the tropics with the normal large mouth associated with tropical cod species. As the name suggests it is covered in black spots, it has white blotches. Spots extend to all fins as well
How To Catch: 
Will take most baits live and dead that are normally used in reef fishing, such as pilchard (or any small fish bait), squid or fish flesh
Where Found: 
Black Spot Cod lives in Northern Queensland, Juveniles enter the estuaries and return to the offshore reefs when adults
